Evaluates, designs, coordinates and implements training and education programs specific to departmental specialty. Conducts integrated training needs assessments and monitors and reports the effectiveness of training.
- Review, practice, and present a variety of training programs, including team-building sessions, departmental trainings, and conference presentations (Leading from the Frontline). Crosstrain on all leadership courses and the Customer Service portion of New Employee Orientation.
- Communicate with employees and departmental leaders to support organizational needs by developing and maintaining campus-wide professional relationships.
- Design and deliver training presentations (“Coffee Breaks,” series classes, etc.) using established content development strategies.
- Ensure all training materials (existing and new) meet university accessibility standards and remain up to date.
- Assist with Human Resources events, including Length of Service, Distinguished Staff Awards, Leading from the Frontline Conference, etc.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field plus three years related experience.
