About the Role

We’re looking for a self-driven Office and People Operations Lead to join our People & Operations team, and play a central role in shaping our day-to-day office operations and employees wellbeing, alongside other partners on the team.

This role sits at the heart of the company. Airis Office and People Operations Lead will support shaping the company’s operational excellence, serve as an outbound ambassador of the Airis’ spirit towards guests, vendors and partners, and create an impact on our working environment to make it the home of the best.

What You’ll Do

Office Operations

  • Own the daily operations of the office and ensure a seamless, organized, welcoming and professional office and work environment.
  • Manage office related vendors and service providers (e.g. facilities, cleaning, supplies, etc.).
  • Manage office purchasing, inventory management, and office budget tracking.
  • Own all office logistics, including parking arrangements, workspace setup, and general office infrastructure.
  • Work side by side with the company’s COO to identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and proactively implement solutions that make the company run more effectively.
  • Manage all office related projects (e.g. office move). 
  • Manage the implementation and onboarding of HR systems.

People Operations

  • Serve as a focal point for employees for day-to-day operational needs. Be attentive to and help ensure employees have everything they need to do their best work.
  • Support onboarding process, logistics and workplace setup for new employees.
  • Support employee offboarding processes on all administrative and operational aspects. 
  • Coordinate employee administrative needs in partnership with other stakeholders (e.g. finance).
  • Partner with the company’s Employee Experience Lead to support all employee experience related events and initiatives.
  • Partner with the company’s HRBP to support other initiatives that contribute to employees’ wellbeing. 
  • Manage the implementation and onboarding of HR systems.

Must Have

  • 3+ years of experience in office management, operations, or similar roles.
  • People oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management and multitasking abilities, that can make things happen in a dynamic environment and with versatile internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of ownership, self-driven with a proactive approach to identify opportunities for operational improvement and to problem solving.
  • Great in managing vendor relationships and operational processes simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and follow-up abilities.
  • Experience in creating professional documents in Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or similar, as well as using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude.
