Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Clerk to join their team.

This position is reports to the Sales Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Telesales – Experienced & confident in marketing outbound sales calls including cold calling
  • Providing administrative support to sales personnel
  • Dealing with telephonically with external customers on queries and order/delivery requirements
  • Managing orders and delivery dates for the relevant sales personnel portfolio
  • Assisting in processing new and repeat job to meet customers requirements with respect to order quantity, price and delivery specifications
  • Managing and updating CRM System
  • Quoting on customers requirements through Syspro

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric
  • A tertiary qualification in Administration or Marketing/Sales will be advantageous
  • A high level of numeracy and computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The abilities to work according to strict deadlines on a continues basis on numerous simultaneous projects
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills/ customers orientation
  • The ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Understanding of Syspro is an advantage
