The Role
As a Diversity Recruitment Specialist, you’ll be the matchmaker between inclusive employers and incredible jobseekers. Your superpower? Championing diversity and creating job opportunities for our client. This role blends employer engagement, job coaching, and community impact — helping shape inclusive futures and strengthen local workplaces.
Working across our Minto, Hurstville and Marrickville sites, you’ll build strong employer partnerships, support jobseekers to shine, and create sustainable employment pathways that change lives.
What You’ll Do
Build meaningful relationships with employers and advocate for inclusive hiring practices
Use reverse marketing and business development strategies to uncover job opportunities
Run engaging job readiness workshops, including resumes, interviews, and employment skills
Match jobseekers to suitable roles using a strengths‑based, person‑centred approach
Support wage subsidy agreements and maintain accurate employer and client records
Represent BUSY Ability at job fairs, expos, and community events
Promote cultural competence and inclusive communication across all interactions
Meet performance targets by converting leads into sustainable placements

Skills And Experiences
A Bit About You
Experience in Business to Business sales or other sales backgrounds with an ability to address objections, employer engagement, employment services, or diversity hiring
Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills
Empathy, creativity, and a solutions‑focused mindset
Valid Blue Card (or ability to obtain), National Police Check, and open driver’s licence
