The role and your impact on the team
People Operations is a strategic partner to the organization, supporting the success of Market Logicians by onboarding key roles, ensuring compliance with employment law, driving various Employee Lifecycle initiatives, and fostering fairness and accuracy in compensation. And what’s more, we are always aiming to be better, never afraid to challenge our own status quo!
The role and your impact at the team
- Support People Operations admin tasks across five countries (Germany, US, UK, Austria & Belgium), including contract and contract amendments preparation, maintaining employee records, student attendance and documentation, absence management etc
- Ensure accuracy in documentation and processes to support smooth employee lifecycle management
- Assist in payroll preparation by ensuring correct employee data and required documentation
- Manage HRIS data in tools such as Personio and ADP
- Support on- and offboarding processes, including communication with new hires and leavers, coordinating key steps, managing Jira tickets, and preparing documentation
- Act as a main point of contact for employee requests related to processes, documents, or general inquiries
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support their implementation to strengthen our operational excellence and ensure compliance
- Support visa processes in collaboration with relevant authorities
- Be an active member of the broader People team by sharing ideas in weekly meetings and supporting roadmap initiatives
You will fit great with the following skills and qualifications
- You are currently enrolled as a student in Germany and can come to our Berlin office at least once a week
- You demonstrate a high level of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive employee data, payroll information, and visa processes
- Ideally, you already have experience in HR/People & Culture (through studies, internships, or previous work experience) and are interested in building your career in this field
- You are able to manage multiple tasks with high levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus, but not a requirement
- You are highly organized, reliable, and can work effectively, both independently and within a collaborative team setting
