The Opportunity

 

Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the State Logistics Manager, the Workforce Planning Manager plays a critical role in supporting our Distribution Centre operations by delivering accurate financial and operational administration, labour planning, compliance support, and workforce coordination.

 

This role is integral to ensuring our Operations Managers can focus on leading high-performing teams while maintaining operational efficiency, cost control, and excellent service outcomes across the site.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide accurate and timely financial and operational reporting to Logistics leadership
  • Manage invoice reconciliation, accruals, and cost validation processes through SAP
  • Coordinate labour planning and agency workforce onboarding
  • Act as the key liaison between labour hire agencies and Operations teams
  • Collate and report key operational performance indicators
  • Manage CHEP and LOSCAM pallet control processes
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management of consumables, stationery, PPE, and operational supplies
  • Coordinate site inductions for new staff and contractors
  • Maintain compliance systems, databases, SharePoint documentation, and RF equipment
  • Support waste management initiatives and S8 review processes
  • Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Previous experience in administration, logistics coordination, or workforce planning roles
  • Experience managing pallet control processes
  • SAP experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with the ability to analyse and present data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning capability with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • A flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented approach
  • Financial aptitude and the ability to think systematical
