Job Summary

The Talent Development Program Coordinator supports the new team members orientation and onboarding experience. The role requires partnership and collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team and Management in ensuring the experience is positive and drives talent retention. This position works directly with the Learning and Development Manager to enhance talent development through comprehensive onboarding for all team members, leadership training programs, and dynamic workplace experience initiatives.


Essential Functions 

  1. Partner with HR to maintain and evolve a comprehensive onboarding experience for new team members.
  2. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of onboarding and training initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Responsible for metric tracking and/or survey action planning related to the effectiveness of the onboarding experience.
  3. Coordinate with HR onboarding programs for newly acquired teams related to mergers and acquisition events, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with company culture and values.
  4. Coordinate and co-facilitate the new manager training program.
  5. Coordinate with executive sponsors and co-facilitate Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and learning events.
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent development, onboarding, and employee engagement. Provide thought leadership on orientation and onboarding program changes related to progressive and current workplace trends. Offer recommendations to CHRO and VP, Talent Management on new or improved practices related to the job scope. 
  7. Create and maintain strong relationships with team members critical to the success of all Talent Development programs.
  8. Drive engagement and participation in development programs through effective communication strategies.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the talent management team and other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of development goals with business objectives.

  • (S)Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with other teams
  • (S)Excellent organizational and project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives
  • (S)Skills in developing and facilitating engaging training and development programs

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 


Work Environment and Physical Demands 

  • In office environment
  • Hybrid work schedule, as approved (must have reliable wi-fi)
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel

  • This job requires no planned business travel.

Education and Experience 

  • High School graduation or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred. 
  • Combined experience in L&D practices or Talent Development practices of five or more years with education is desirable.
  • Experience with ERGs, training, and learning programs.
