What to expect

As the Talent Development Partner you will be responsible for supporting the design, coordination and delivery of impactful Performance, Talent and Development initiatives as part of the Talent Management strategy. You will play a key role in building enterprise-wide initiatives that supports the overall organisational culture, performance and transformation agenda.  

 

You will act as a trusted advisor providing coaching and advice on performance, talent and development processes and programmes to ensure that we are supporting the business to develop our talented colleagues for the future success of Post Office.  Working in collaboration with the wider People and functional leadership teams to ensure stakeholders understand and are fully engaged with all performance, talent and development activities.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll have proven experience in designing and delivering performance, talent, and development initiatives within large, complex organisations. You’ll be confident in offering strategic guidance and influencing senior leaders and executives on talent development agendas.


In addition to this, you will have:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in HR, Learning & Development, Psychology, or a related discipline, along with a relevant professional accreditation (e.g. CIPD, coaching, psychometrics, or development tools)
  • Deep expertise in leadership development, with a strong understanding of how to build strategic, behavioural, and inclusive leadership capabilities
  • Experience collaborating with external learning partners, coaches, internal teams, and leadership development providers
  • The ability to assess the impact of performance, talent, and development initiatives and translate insights into meaningful actions
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders to deliver impactful learning and development sessions
