Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to talent and leadership development within a global organisation. The role will be responsible for leading the coordination, design support, implementation and continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives across BW Group.

Working closely with business leaders, HR colleagues, affiliate companies and external partners, the Learning and Development Manager will help deliver impactful development experiences that build organisational capability, enhance employee growth and support BW Group's strategic talent agenda. The role requires strong stakeholder management, project coordination and learning programme management capabilities, with a focus on ensuring learning interventions are successfully executed, adopted and continuously improved.

Responsibilities

Learning Programme Design & Delivery Support

  • Coordinate the design, implementation and continuous improvement of learning and development programmes aligned to business and talent priorities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to develop learning solutions that support capability building and leadership development.
  • Review program content, learning objectives and participant experiences to ensure desired development outcomes are achieved.
  • Support the creation of innovative development approaches, including virtual, classroom, blended and experiential learning interventions.
  • Facilitate selected learning programmes, workshops and development activities where appropriate.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for programme sponsors, business leaders, HR teams, affiliate companies and external vendors.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on learning objectives, participant engagement and delivery expectations.
  • Coordinate learning activities across multiple locations, functions and stakeholder groups to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Manage relationships with external learning providers and monitor delivery quality and outcomes.

Program Governance & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end program coordination, including planning, scheduling, communications, implementation and follow-up activities.
  • Monitor programme progress, participant engagement and completion of development actions.
  • Ensure learning commitments, development plans and next steps are tracked and followed through with participants and stakeholders.
  • Prepare program updates, insights and progress reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Evaluate programme effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Support the management of programme budgets and vendor expenditure.
  • Monitor learning investments and ensure resources are utilised effectively and efficiently.
  • Track programme metrics and provide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Continue to track and review external trends and best practice in Talent & Development


  • Experience coordinating learning, leadership development, talent or capability-building programmes.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, cultures and geographies.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with external vendors and learning partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate programme effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Driven, resourceful and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to work effectively within a global organisation.
  • Understanding of how learning and talent development supports business performance and workforce capability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
