Among them are Condado Vanderbilt, the standard of excellence for luxury hotels in San Juan and the Caribbean; La Concha Resort, your iconic beachfront retreat with chic style and a vibrant nightlife destination in San Juan; and Condado Ocean Club, an adults-only boutique hotel — a modern oasis in the heart of the city. The collection also includes Casino del Mar and world-renowned dining venues such as STK San Juan and Serafina.

As we continue to raise the bar in service excellence, we are seeking a dedicated Talent Development Manager with a strong background in human resources, luxury hospitality, and a deep understanding of Forbes Travel Guide standards

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate property-wide training programs to support service excellence and operational goals.
  • Strengthen the execution of Forbes Travel Guide standards across all departments to maintain and exceed luxury service expectations.
  • Partner with department leaders to conduct training needs assessments and address performance or knowledge gaps.
  • Lead and continuously improve onboarding and orientation programs to support employee engagement and retention.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through audits, guest feedback, service scores, and internal evaluations.
  • Deliver coaching and mentoring to employees and managers to enhance individual and team capabilities.
  • Support leadership development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate training documentation and ensure adherence to all brands, federal, and local training requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in training and development within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Hotel Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide standards and luxury service delivery.
  • Proven experience managing comprehensive training projects across departments.
  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, LMS, Canva, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to translate business problems into effective learning and development strategies.
  • Background in HR practices, employee development, or leadership coaching preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. federal and Puerto Rico Labor laws.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
  • High standard of confidentiality and professional integrity.
  • Energetic, organized, and inspirational leader with a genuine passion for hospitality and service excellence.
