Job Description:

We are looking for a Talent Development manager that will be is accountable for supporting and executing TJX Canada’s talent development strategy, program design, development, and implementation of key programs such as performance management, talent planning, leadership development and team effectiveness.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for implementing talent management programs including talent review, performance management, succession planning, leadership training, mentoring and coaching initiatives 
  • Partners with HR Business Partners and Leadership to identify and implement talent development strategies (e.g., coaching, leadership development) 
  • Accountable for supporting talent review process, partnering closely with HR Business Partner teams to provide training, resources and tools; ensures up to date collateral available for teams to access and use through annual process 
  • Builds and sustains foundational talent development process by defining and embedding clear roles and responsibilities across the team to support consistent, scalable,  and effective service delivery of talent offerings 
  • Supports the delivery of strategic Talent Development priorities including planning, coordination, communication and execution across cross-functional HR and global partners 
  • Advocates I&D mindset by supporting development and implementation of I&D initiatives and strategies within Talent Development 

About You:

  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant and progressive Human Resources including program management, training and facilitation and Corporate coaching (preferred) 
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Management and or CHRP designation considered an asset 
  • International Coaching Federation (ICF) or affiliated coaching qualification equivalent considered an asset 
  • Strong project management skills utilizing multiple sources of information to develop project plans; knowledge of and ability to use project reporting systems an asset 
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to use information in developing strategies, plans, policies and solutions that meet department and business needs

Salary Range: $89,208.00-$135,086.40 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
