We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Telnet Development Executive to join our technology team at our Constance Halaveli resort in the Maldives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Telnet-based systems and applications that support our resort's operational infrastructure. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage complex development projects whilst maintaining the highest standards of system reliability and security.

• Design, develop, and deploy Telnet applications and network communication systems to support operational requirements
• Analyse existing systems and infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimisation and modernisation
• Lead technical development projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications
• Oversee the integration of legacy Telnet systems with contemporary technology platforms
• Establish and implement robust security protocols and best practices across all Telnet-based communications
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and support teams
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure system performance and reliability
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, and operational procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures promptly
• Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations, updates, and maintenance activities

• Proven expertise in Telnet protocol development and network communication systems
• Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to systems development
• Demonstrated experience with network infrastructure design and implementation
• Solid background in system administration and technical infrastructure management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience in project management and coordinating technical initiatives
• Strong people skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in technical documentation and system modelling
• Knowledge of security protocols and cybersecurity best practices
• Desirable experience with cloud infrastructure and modern integration technologies
• Desirable background in hospitality or resort technology environments
• Desirable experience in team leadership or mentoring roles
