Description

The Talent Development Coordinator supports the WVU Foundation’s mission by assisting in the design, coordination, and delivery of talent development initiatives that foster an engaged, high-performing, and inclusive workplace culture. This position works closely with the AVP of Talent Management and Culture to implement programs that strengthen employee capability, leadership development, performance management, and organizational culture across the Foundation.
The Coordinator serves as the primary administrator for employee surveys—managing the full lifecycle of engagement, culture, onboarding, and learning feedback surveys—to ensure data-driven insights inform the Foundation’s talent and culture strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Program Coordination and Support
•    Coordinate logistics and communication for training, workshops, and professional development events.
•    Maintain calendars, schedules, and materials related to talent and culture initiatives.
•    Assist in developing and updating training content, learning materials, and resources.
•    Track participation, feedback, and outcomes for all learning and development programs.

Employee Engagement, Culture, and Surveys
•    Serve as the primary point of contact and administrator for employee surveys, including engagement, culture, onboarding, and learning evaluations.
•    Manage survey timelines, communication plans, data collection, and reporting.
•    Analyze survey data and prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
•    Collaborate with leaders to develop and track follow-up action plans based on survey results.
•    Support planning and implementation of employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and culture-related activities.
•    Help promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the Foundation’s mission and values.

Performance and Talent Management
•    Support annual performance management processes, including communications, tracking, and reporting.
•    Maintain accurate and confidential employee development records.
•    Assist in the administration of talent assessments, onboarding programs, and leadership development initiatives.

Data and Reporting
•    Gather, maintain, and analyze data to support talent development metrics and reporting needs.
•    Prepare summary reports and visual dashboards for leadership review.
•    Identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance talent and culture programs.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Competencies: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required.

•    Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in human resources, training and development, employee engagement, or related administrative support role.


•    Experience designing, managing, or analyzing surveys preferred.
•    Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with survey tools and learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
•    High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
•    Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use his/her hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
