Introduction

We are looking for a dynamic and structured Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to meet the organisation’s workforce needs, while ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with business goals.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
1. Recruitment & Sourcing
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle (from job briefing to offer stage)
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and headhunting
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline
2. Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs
  • Provide guidance on job specifications, market trends, and salary benchmarks
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and candidate profiles
3. Screening & Selection
  • Review CVs and shortlist suitable candidates
  • Conduct interviews (telephonic, virtual, and in-person)
  • Administer and interpret assessments (e.g. psychometric assessments where applicable)
4. Employer Branding
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice
  • Manage job postings on platforms like LinkedIn and career portals
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
5. Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and ATS systems
  • Compile recruitment reports (time-to-fill, quality of hire, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
6. Offer Management & Onboarding
  • Facilitate offer negotiations
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks (references,  psychometric assessments qualifications, criminal checks)
  • Support onboarding processes

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • 3–5 years’ recruitment experience.
  • Registered Psychometrist (non-negotiable – must be registered with the HPCSA).
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of structure and attention to detail.
  • Energetic, proactive, and driven personality.
