ESP Associates, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist to join our team and focus on growth initiatives in the power market. As an integral member of the TA team, the TA Specialist works closely with hiring managers to understand recruiting needs and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified candidates. This individual will identify, attract, and hire a variety of Engineers, Surveyors, and other technical professionals in the Power market.

Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing & Attraction:
- Partner with managers to understand hiring goals, role requirements and team dynamics.
- Create and post engaging job advertisements on relevant job boards, career sites, and social media platforms.
- Proactively source candidates through various channels.
- Leverage social media, job boards, campus events, and career fairs to promote the ESP brand.
- Candidate Experience:
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by providing timely updates and setting expectations regarding timeline and process (directly with candidates and indirectly through external recruiters, when applicable).
- Data Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and any other platforms used to organize candidate pipelines.
- Assessment & Selection
- Determine applicant suitability by interviewing candidates, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Present resumes of qualified candidates, accompanied by detailed screening notes, to hiring managers. Proactively follow up with hiring manager for next step decisions.
- Coordinate and arrange interviews via multiple platforms and time zones.
- Ensure that interview debriefs are conducted and next-step decisions are made in a timely manner.
- Provide market and company data to hiring managers to create attractive offers of employment.
- General
- Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new processes and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices and emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Escalate issues to the Talent Acquisition leadership.
- Limited travel to other ESP offices and affiliate offices, as well as colleges and universities during the fall and spring career fair seasons.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources, or related degree.
- Experience or ability to manage the recruitment process from initial request to selection and onboarding.
- Experience or ability to use internet research tools, implement sourcing strategies, and post to various job boards as it relates to recruitment.
- Ability to understand and recruit for technical roles, including engineers, designers, surveyors, projects managers, etc.
- Strong customer service orientation with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Self-motivated with a competitive spirit.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
Preferred:
- Experience in the power industry, specifically transmission and substation.
- Associates Professional in Human Resources (aPHR).
