General Summary:
The position is responsible for all aspects of recruitment, talent pipelining, onboarding, and core Human Resources functions. Success in this position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, a persuasive ability to showcase the organization as an employer of choice, and a strong work ethic. Regular travel across our locations within four counties is required to support business needs and build strong workplace connections.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process for all employees (except Senior Management, unless otherwise required), including posting job advertisements, processing requisitions, maintaining job boards, screening candidates, coordinating and conducting interviews (both in-person and via Teams), and executing offer letters.
- Proactively source and develop candidate pipelines through networking, outreach, and engagement strategies to ensure a steady pool of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs. Maintain pipeline reports and keep current.
- Travel to our branches, other bank locations, college job fairs, and other various locations as required to represent the organization, recruit candidates, and conduct interviews.
- Build & maintain relationships with colleges, universities, organizations, and community partners to strengthen recruiting efforts and support long-term talent pipelines.
- Organize and facilitate new employee onboarding sessions, collaborate with leaders to create personalized onboarding schedules, coordinate individual training, as needed, and process and manage all new hire paperwork as required.
- Enter new employees into the payroll / HRIS system and ensure compliance with all onboarding requirements.
- Work with third-party recruiters, as required.
- Work closely with your supervisor to coordinate, manage, and recruit for our annual internship program, supporting multiple interns across various departments and ensuring a structured and positive experience.
- Data entry into ADP & Compensation system as needed.
- Maintain all logs and coordinate data for the annual Affirmative Action filing
- Assist in the preparation of the Affirmative Action, EEO & VETS Annual Reporting
- Work with management in the updating or creation of job descriptions, as needed
- Coordinate all PI assessments and Job Target analyses in the Predictive Index Software
- Handle all filing and file maintenance for the HR & Training department
- Run credit and background checks on prospective applicants, as needed
- Generate necessary staffing reports and maintain the banks Compliment report.
- Responsible for managing billing & invoices for many of the department’s vendors
- Assist with event planning, employee events, team building activities, etc
- Assist with Human Resources Compliance and Audits
- Answer employee and candidate questions over the phone, via email, or in person as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, applicants, vendors, clients, etc.
- Scanning and other administrative duties as assigned
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Required: Associate’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Required: 2 years of experience in Recruitment / Talent Management required. 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
Preferred: 3-5 years of Recruitment / Talent Management experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service
- Experience with ADP a plus.
