About this role:
Our Talent Acquisition Specialist is equal parts recruiter, brand ambassador, process wizard, and detective. You’ll be the one making sure we find the right people in the right places at the right time — and that they have a stellar candidate experience from “hello” to “welcome aboard.”
You’ll report to the People Operations Manager (U.S.-based) and partner closely with hiring managers in all of our locations and across our two sister companies, Cognira and RetSci. You’ll post jobs, source like a pro, coordinate interviews, manage our ATS, and — most importantly — find creative ways to attract passive candidates who didn’t even know they were looking for us.
While we have processes, tools, and templates ready to go, we’re excited for you to make this function your own. If you can help us hit our hiring goals faster and better while keeping our values intact, you’ll have a lot of freedom to design the approach.
This is a mid-level, individual contributor role based in Tunis, but you’ll manage hiring across all of our global offices.
What you will do:
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for roles across multiple countries, from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and team culture.
- Post jobs on relevant boards and career sites, and keep our listings fresh.
- Source, engage, and nurture passive candidates through creative outreach strategies.
- Screen resumes (alongside hiring managers) and conduct first-round interviews.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and communication across time zones.

- Track candidates and hiring progress in our ATS (BambooHR) and keep data squeaky clean.
- Champion the candidate experience by ensuring prompt communication and thoughtful feedback.
- Report on recruitment metrics like time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and candidate satisfaction.
- Stay on top of hiring trends and talent market insights to help us stay competitive.
- Represent Cognira and RetSci at recruitment events, universities, and wherever great talent hides.
- Work from our Tunis office four days a week (and one day remotely).
- Keep 2–5 p.m. CET free for international meetings.
What you bring to the table:
- Strong English-speaking and writing skills (French or Arabic is a plus).
- Proven success in sourcing and hiring passive candidates.
- A knack for building rapport quickly — whether with a hiring manager or a stranger on LinkedIn.
- An organized, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple roles and deadlines.
- Comfort navigating ATS systems (BambooHR experience is great, but not required).
- The creativity to find talent in unexpected places.
- An ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A collaborative mindset — you see hiring as a team sport.
- Willingness to learn about labor laws and hiring nuances in multiple countries.

- You can talk about your most creative sourcing win (bonus points if it’s a little outrageous).

- Our People Operations Manager
- A panel including our People Operations Manager and a senior leader from both Cognira and RetSci.
- The General Manager of our Tunis office.
