Job Summary

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's workforce demands. This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates through multiple channels to coordinating interviews and facilitating offers. The specialist collaborates closely with account managers to understand role requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to each position. By leveraging data-driven insights and market trends, the Talent Acquisition Specialist continuously improves recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate quality. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to building a diverse, skilled, and engaged workforce that drives the company’s success. 

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, evaluating qualifications, assessing cultural fit, coordinating with hiring managers, and facilitating candidate selection and offers
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress and recruitment metric
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and provide regular updates on recruitment statuses 
  • Promote the employer brand by representing the company at career fairs, industry events, and through digital platforms to attract high-quality talent 
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure professional and organizational success; includes but not limited to: phone times, prescreens, submittals, offer acceptances, hires, and others as set by management
  • Contribute to the continuous improvements of the recruitment process
  • Carefully handle confidential information, maintaining privacy at the highest standard
  • Support the department lead with various tasks, projects, and initiatives as assigned
  • Support other functional areas as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned 


Qualifications

 

  • 1+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within a recruitment agency and/or government contracting environment; health care staffing a plus
  • Experience working in a sales environment is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using job board platforms, conducting talent sourcing, and developing recruitment strategies preferred
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software preferred
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices in the U.S.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or similar is a must
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business contracts, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Location / Travel

 

10 to 15% travel annually to attend career fairs, networking events, and company meetings 


Accountability

 

  • This is a remote position and will be performed out of the employee’s home-based office Individual must have discipline to work in this work environment and need to be reliable and readily available throughout the workday
  • All work will be performed according to company policies and standards, as well as in the spirit of the company's mission

Expected Hours of Work

 

Your work schedule may vary depending on your position with the Company.  Our corporate business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm Eastern. Your start time should be discussed and approved by your immediate supervisor if you wish to deviate from the normal operating hours.  Employees may be required to work additional hours in order to successfully complete work obligations. Non-exempt employees are required to obtain prior approval from their immediate supervisor before working overtime.
