Job Purpose

We are looking for a strategic and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong background in retention, market research, and headhunting strategies. This role will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, while also playing a key role in developing and executing advanced sourcing tactics and employee retention initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about finding and keeping the right talent.

Duties & Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Headhunting

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments and job levels.
  • Maintain and report on the strength and health of talent pipelines by tracking candidate volume, quality, engagement levels, and readiness for critical roles.
  • Track and analyse retention metrics, including voluntary turnover, employee tenure, and exit interview trends.
  • Analyse hiring funnel performance and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Provide actionable insights from hiring and retention data to support strategic workforce planning.
  • Partner with business to understand current and future staffing needs and develop aligned recruiting strategies.
  • Utilise advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and market mapping) to identify and engage passive talent.
  • Develop and implement headhunting strategies to attract high-caliber and hard-to-reach candidates.
  • Conduct talent market research to benchmark compensation, assess talent availability, and track competitor hiring trends.
  • Build and maintain a proactive network of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.

Research & Strategy

  • Conduct talent market research and competitive analysis to guide recruitment strategy.
  • Identify trends in talent availability, emerging skill sets, and workforce challenges.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations on sourcing strategies and candidate engagement.

Onboarding & Retention

  • Design and facilitate onboarding processes that promote integration, engagement, and early success.
  • Analyse turnover trends and conduct stay interviews to identify retention risks.
  • Work with leadership to develop and implement employee retention programs, including career development, engagement, and recognition strategies.
  • Monitor employee engagement metrics and develop solutions to enhance retention.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, including headhunting and retention-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing passive talent and building strong talent pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of market research methods related to workforce and compensation trends.
  • Strong knowledge of employee retention strategies and engagement practices.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Career Junction search).
  • Experience in a high-growth or competitive talent market.
  • Experience with diverse sourcing strategies.
  • Background in data analytics or workforce planning is an advantage.
