JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, identify, screen, and hire individuals for various roles and staffing needs throughout the organization. This role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees while factoring in the long-term goals of an organization.  The Talent Acquisition Specialist requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a balanced professional and approachable demeanor, 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, and the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills while working closely with others across different departments and the ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive information.  This role will represent Bethany Children’s Health Center to all outside parties, be a resource for development for internal candidates, and be proactive in their quest for the best individuals to work within the organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, understanding the needs of the role and recruit the best candidates for Bethany Children’s Health Center.  Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates.  Pro-actively source and recruit the best candidate for the role and organization.  Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.  Serve as a go-between for candidates and hiring managers.  Coordinating the hiring process end-to-end in partnership with HR Generalist and Onboarding Specialist.

Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind.  Input into overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals.  Propose strategies to increase hospital visibility and appeal to attract the best candidates.

Applicant Tracking System Management: Develop and maintain end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience, including timely candidate response and thorough follow-through.  Coordinating the hiring process end-to-end.  Provide leadership with metrics to track all recruitment efforts.

Sourcing:  Build strong relationships with outside schools and other businesses to actively recruit for all hospital positions.  Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives.  Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.

Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders

Qualifications  

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar degree or qualifying HR experience.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar.  Paycom experience preferred. Healthcare experience a plus.

License/Certification/Credential:

SHRM/PHR Certifications preferred.
