Introduction

Icebolethu Group is looking for a competent incumbent for the Talent Acquisition Specialist to be responsible for leading and executing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition strategies across the organization. The role ensures strategic talent sourcing, positive candidate experience, employer branding, compliance with employment legislation, and alignment of recruitment activities with business workforce planning objectives. The incumbent plays a key role in supporting departmental hiring needs, building talent pipelines, and driving recruitment operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through job postings, social media, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Develop and post inclusive job descriptions on relevant platforms.
  • Maintain continuous communication with candidates to ensure positive candidate     experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time to hire and quality of hire.
  • Promote employer branding initiatives.
  • Utilize sourcing tools and platforms to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct structured interviews and preliminary candidate assessments.
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers on candidate selection decisions.
  • Represent the organization at recruitment initiatives and branding events.
  • Track recruitment funnel metrics and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment including applicant tracking, assessments, and interview coordination.
  • Manage internal promotions and external recruitment across all organizational levels.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives and attend recruitment events (job fairs, career expos).
  • Maintain accurate recruitment reports and analytics.
  • Build long-term relationships with past applicants and talent pools.
  • Contribute to HR special projects including talent development and process improvement.
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and analyze competitor hiring practices and market trends.

Desired Experience & Qualification

 

  • Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications on any related field.
  • Sage Certification - Advantageous
  • Two to three years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting (preferably in-house)
  • Experience with recruitment marketing platforms
  • Basic understanding of SEO for job postings
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn, various Social Media Platforms, SAGE, e-recruitment Systems, and HRIS platforms to effectively manage recruitment processes, candidate data, reporting, and onboarding workflows.
