Talent Acquisition Specialist

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruitment delivery across Clancy ensuring the sourcing, attraction and hiring of high-quality candidates to support Company growth. 

 

Our ideal candidate will be a Talent Acquisition expert who will be responsible for managing recruitment end to end, sourcing and attracting quality talent and managing stakeholder relationships.

You will be committed to providing a quality candidate engagement experience. You need to care about candidate quality, technical and cultural fit.

 

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this role can be based in Dublin (Sandyford) or Drangan, Thurles Co. Tipperary.


Key responsibilities will include :

 

  • Managing the complete recruitment cycle and process (to include CV and Candidate screening, interviewing and associated documentation).

         Identify ways to make hiring faster, smarter, leaner and more effective. 

  • Proactively sourcing quality candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, direct outreach, and referrals. Manage job postings across approved platforms and the Clancy careers page.

         Engaging candidates where the best people may not be actively looking.

  • Coordinating interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Supporting hiring managers with interview preparation and structured interview guides.
  • Ensuring consistent, fair, and competency-based selection processes.
  • Preparing offer documentation, issuing contracts and coordinating pre-employment checks.
  • Managing relationships with approved recruitment agencies (as required).
  • Ensuring recruitment processes are compliant with GDPR, equality legislation, and Company policy.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and ATS data (Bamboo).
  • Producing regular recruitment reports
  • Representing Clancy at job fairs and recruiting events.
    Partnering with the People and Culture Team to develop and enhance the broader People function.


Experience

 

  • 3+ years TA experience - in-house experience is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple roles simultaneously across different disciplines and locations.
  • Construction sector experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven experience with LinkedIn Recruiter is essential.  Familiarity with Bamboo is beneficial. 


Skills


  • Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Self-directed, proactive, organised with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Flexible with a well-developed ability to multi-task, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with variety, ambiguity and change.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Well-developed English language abilities – written and spoken – are essential.
  • Ability to build positive relationships at all levels and across the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational and candidate engagement skills.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR requirements and best practice recruitment.
