Job Summary:
Acts as a subject matter expert to hiring managers and business leaders to acquire talent and manage the recruitment lifecycle. Define and execute sourcing strategies to build a qualified and diverse candidate pool. While partnering with the hiring manager to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, the Partner will represent the hospital to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates. The Partner will source candidates utilizing available resources and develop additional creative methods to identify and expand candidate pools on challenging-to-fill, high-volume roles, as needed. Escalates potential issues to the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team to ensure quality hiring.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
- Provide counsel to Hiring Managers during Talent Strategy Discussions and the recruitment lifecycle of changing market conditions.
- Manage and drive the recruiting lifecycle: source, assess candidates via appropriate methods to include telephone screening, virtual interviews and manage the incoming candidate progression through the talent acquisition life cycle.
- Advise and debrief with hiring leaders during the selection process, make offers to selected candidates, and negotiate offers.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with hiring managers to include requisition intake discussions.
- Implement and review service Level Agreements with hiring managers to define roles and responsibilities for guiding the hiring process.
- Create a compelling value proposition statement for engaging and recruiting passive, top talent for critical-to-fill positions.
- Assist managers with hiring decisions and negotiations. Ensure internal and external market equity.
- Provide recommendations on Recruitment events and Recruitment tools; participate in various recruitment events related to Workforce Development and/or University Relations, as appropriate.
- Utilize technology to manage data, candidate relationships, etc.
- Evaluate, select, and hire top talent by objectively comparing a candidate’s qualifications to identified business needs, job specifications, and competencies.

Qualifications:
Associates or higher level degree strongly preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of recruitment, human resources or staffing agency experience required.
Excellent written, verbal communications listening, collaboration and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and negotiate to provide counsel advice.
Ability to work independently, proactively, multitask and prioritize work.
Demonstrated ability to use talent management and other relevant systems.
Successful demonstrated experience and skill in setting a talent strategy, including ability to build diverse applicant pipelines.
Possess basic understanding of employment law.
