The Talent Acquisition Partner – Critical Capability & Retention plays an important role in supporting business continuity by ensuring we attract, hire, and retain the right talent in revenue-critical, specialist, and senior roles.
This role is proactive in nature and works closely with the business to stay ahead of future hiring needs. You’ll focus on building strong talent networks, particularly within financial services, to ensure we have access to high-quality candidates when they are needed most. The emphasis is on thoughtful, well-matched hiring decisions that support long-term performance and stability.
Success in this role means improved quality of hire, reduced regretted attrition, quicker ramp-up times, and strong, trusted talent pipelines.
Proactively identify and engage high-performing talent across short-term insurance and broader financial services
Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders, specialists, and key revenue contributors
Develop and manage passive talent pipelines for critical and senior roles ahead of vacancies
Lead end-to-end hiring for senior leadership, specialist, and revenue-critical positions
Balance delivery timelines with long-term hiring outcomes by assessing motivation, stability, and retention risk
Review trends relating to regretted attrition and highlight potential retention risks to the business
Support the Productivity Talent Acquisition Partner when required, including assisting with higher-volume hiring during peak periods or escalations
3–5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, executive search, or strategic sourcing
Experience with proactive sourcing and headhunting, ideally within financial services
Exposure to hiring for senior, specialist, or revenue-critical roles
The ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of long-term productivity and retention
