  • Advanced Market Mapping: Operating as a domain expert who understands exactly where competitor talent sits, current industry salary benchmarks, and the cultural nuances of Japanese corporate environments.
  • Rigorous Candidate Quality Control: Systematically evaluating candidates not only for their immediate technical competencies but for their long-term cultural alignment, leadership capacity, and retention potential.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Language Proficiency: Minimum JLPT N2 certification with solid business-level spoken and written Japanese to confidently manage communications with regional directors and expatriate management.
  • Proven Sourcing Track Record: 3+ years of progressive corporate recruitment or headhunting experience, demonstrating rapid performance velocity in technical or specialized sectors. Strong experience executing full-lifecycle recruitment, either within a fast-paced executive search agency or a progressive in-house corporate team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence to successfully manage complex offer negotiations and guide hiring managers through data-driven decisions.
  • Industry Familiarity: Prior experience recruiting within agronomy, agriculture, heavy manufacturing, chemicals, or related supply chain sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to track talent acquisition metrics, analyze funnel drop-off rates, and implement data-backed improvements to the recruitment process.
