Talent Acquisition Coordinator - On Site at the Corporate Office, San Diego, CA

What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an energetic, forward thinking, resourceful candidate who will think outside the box to help solve staffing needs. CONAM is a property management company and the TA teams plays a important role in the success of each region. The right candidate will be responsible for supporting a regions staffing needs as well as sharing openings on social media and community partners. CONAM is located in San Diego, CA. The candidate must be local to San Diego.
This is a Full-Time Position | Wage range is $25.00-27.00 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
Support Talent Acquisition Team
- Support the TA Team with communication to active candidates during the hiring process to ensure continued interest and to address and anticipate issues.
- Responsible for maintaining all financial trackers for department, with daily updates.
- Responsible for coordination of spreadsheets and trackers documenting talent pipeline by posting job ads through job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations, and employee referral programs.
- Evaluate applications, review resumes, complete initial phone interviews, create offer letters in support of the TA team and to cover team absence.
Full–Cycle Recruiting
- Perform full cycle recruitment to support a region of up to 12 multifamily Communities to include weekly calls with hiring managers, weekly tracker, resume review, interviews and creating offers.
- Maintain communication with active candidates during the hiring process to ensure continued interest and to address and anticipate issues.
- Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations, and employee referral programs.
Pre-Employment
- Manage the pre-employment process for the department, including the coordination of background checks, drug screenings, and physical assessments to
Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring teams to understand the business and staffing need and become a true talent partner to the organization.
- Work quickly to address and resolve internal and external customer needs.
Administration
- Maintain knowledge of staffing laws and regulations, ensure regulatory compliance and update the staffing process as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all candidate and recruitment information.
- Maintain accurate and timely reports using ATS (Applicant Tracking System), HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and Microsoft Excel.
- Post and manage job requisitions across job boards and internal systems.
- Collect interviewer feedback.
- Prepare and send offer letters and support offer approvals.
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics, next steps, and general inquiries.
- Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed.
- Ensure positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Manages departmental mailbox.
- Schedules and organizes interviews.
- Assists with recruiting campaigns and outreach.
All other duties as assigned to include project management.
Who You Are: (Requirements of the Position)
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- 1 year experience in human resources as an Administrative Assistant , HR Coordinator or equivalent experience
- 1 year experience in property management is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Advanced Excel Skills required
- Knowledge of Talent Acquisition tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence hiring managers
- Ability to maintain a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives
