Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Talent Acquisition Associate to support the organizations hiring goals by sourcing, attracting and engaging top talent.  This role focuses on building strong relationship with candidates, hiring managers and external partners while managing the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned positions.


Essential Functions:


  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and job requirements.
  • Source and engage potential candidates through job boards, social media, networking and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Manage full recruitment cycle, scheduling and coordinating offers through to onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, professional associations, and community organizations to support pipeline.
  • May be required to work additional hours or on the weekend in the event of a catastrophe event.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of recruiting in a corporate environment.
  • Proficient in the use of recruitment tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruiting.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience recruiting in the insurance industry
  • Professional certification (SHRM-CP, etc.)
