Summary of position

This role will provide leadership and oversight of North Shore Health’s Talent Acquisition and HR Operations functions while supporting cross-departmental alignment and execution for the Chief Strategy Officer. The role ensures the efficient recruiting, onboarding, and people processes at the Support Center, while strengthening communication, structure, and accountability across multiple departments including People C Culture, Learning C Development, Central Scheduling, Procurement, Asset Management, Plant Operations, IT, and Communications C Government Relations.

This role blends people leadership, operational insight, and project coordination to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve the overall candidate, employee and hiring manager experience. This role serves as both a builder and a connector, strengthening systems and processes, developing talent, and ensuring that key initiatives across departments align with North Shore Health’s strategic goals.

Requirements of the position

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven success in assessing, rebuilding and leading or influencing recruiting teams and improving people-focused processes.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working across departments.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or multi-site operations.
  • Professional certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or related) preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple functional areas in a matrixed organization.
