Role: Supporting our rapid international growth, the Learning & Talent Development Specialist will drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, accelerate capability development, and develop our training programs to meet our HR needs. Reporting to the Manager, Talent and Human Resources, this role requires strategic thinking and operational excellence to align people programs with business priorities across our global divisions.
Your Day with Equisoft:
Learning & Development
Design and implement global learning strategies focused on soft skills and managerial capabilities development (e.g., leadership, communication, collaboration, performance management) aligned with business capability needs and career progression frameworks
Partner with division leaders, HR team, and Training Facilitators from the operations division, to identify skill gaps and create targeted development programs
Facilitate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and management coaching.
Manage learning technology platforms and build learning paths to support career progression and employee development
Measure training effectiveness, adoption rates, and ROI of learning initiatives
HR Project Development
Support the design and implementation of HR solutions in collaboration with HR Business Partners to enhance employee engagement and retention
Contribute and develop employee voice initiatives through onboarding surveys, pulse checks, stay interviews, and exit surveys, and translate insights into actionable improvements
Develop and execute retention and engagement initiatives that address key drivers identified through employee feedback
Support internal communication plan and change management for the release of HR solutions
Champion inclusive workplace practices and ensure alignment with company values
Analytics & Strategic Partnerships
Provide data-driven insights and ROI analysis to HR and leadership
Monitor industry trends and best practices; translate insights into strategic recommendations that influence global people strategy
Partner with HR Team to ensure delivery of cohesive global initiatives and alignment with overall people strategy and company goals
Leverage data analytics experience to drive evidence-based HR solutions
Requirements:
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organization Development, or equivalent
8+ years designing and implementing training, coaching and various programs, with demonstrated impact on engagement, and retention.
Excellent working proficiency in English and French. Spanish is an asset
Proficiency with Excel (data analysis)
Experience in the IT industry in a globalized context
Experience in HR project management and change management
Experience presenting business cases and program results to senior leadership
Experience with Workday’s employee engagement platform (Peakon) and learning management systems (e.g., LinkedIn Learning)
Experience with employee recognition or wellness programs is an asset
Training certification or accreditation is considered a strong asset
Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organizational levels
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate data into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
Self-directed with strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
