OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Talent Development & DEI Specialist to support and drive impactful learning, development, and inclusion initiatives across the organization. This role plays a critical part in shaping a positive and engaging employee experience through structured onboarding, continuous development opportunities, and inclusive culture-building efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Onboarding & Induction
- Design, manage, and deliver end-to-end onboarding and induction experiences for all new hires.
- Partner with HR, IT, and business teams to ensure a seamless Day 1 and 90-day journey.
- Continuously improve onboarding content and experience to align with evolving organizational needs.
Employee Development Programs
- Manage the full lifecycle of learning and development programs across employee segments.
- Publish and maintain learning calendars, ensuring visibility and clarity on all scheduled programs.
- Coordinate nominations, pre/post-comms, feedback, and impact assessment for all programs.
Learning Management System (LMS) Management
- Oversee the administration of the Learning Management System, including course uploads, learner records, and reporting.
- Ensure all training content is up-to-date, structured, and accessible for learners.
- Generate usage analytics and insights to support data-driven decisions around learning investments.
Facilitation & Engagement
- Facilitate onboarding and select learning sessions for employees and support ongoing development and engagement.
- Support pre-session preparation, delivery, and follow-ups including nudges and reinforcement activities.
Vendor & Operations Management
- Collaborate with external learning partners and vendors to deliver high-quality programs.
- Handle end-to-end vendor management including contracting, coordination, logistics, and feedback loops.
- Manage learning budgets, process invoices, and ensure accurate and timely payments.
DEI Programs & Advocacy
- Support the design and execution of DEI initiatives in line with the company’s inclusion goals.
- Curate and share DEI-focused learning content and drive employee awareness campaigns.
- Partner with ERGs, People Partners and leadership to organize inclusion-focused events and conversations.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms for L&D activities, including participation rates, completion metrics, feedback summaries, and other key performance indicators.
- Generate insightful analytics to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs, providing data to inform future strategies.
- Contribute to reporting on DE&I program engagement and impact.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in L&D, Talent Development, or DEI roles.
- Hands-on experience managing learning platforms/LMS tools and program communications.
- Excellent project management, coordination, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities with a high degree of ownership and attention to detail.
- Strong passion for inclusive workplaces and a learner-first mindset.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), capable of engaging effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and participants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with HRIS or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Data literate with ability to interpret and use data to drive decision making.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Platforms and HR Systems such as Workday (preferred).
