About the Role:
Responsible for shaping and executing HEINEKEN USA’s internal communications strategy to inspire, engage, and empower employees. This role drives a consistent drumbeat of compelling communications that fosters pride, builds ambassadors, and strengthens company culture. The Internal Communications Sr Manager develops and delivers creative, impactful messaging across employee, sales, and distributor audiences, ensuring alignment with business priorities. This position partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to amplify corporate initiatives and enhance HEINEKEN USA’s reputation, while championing transparency and connection throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a comprehensive annual employee engagement strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead program execution for employee engagement strategy, create innovative internal events & communications.
- Partner cross-functionally with Management, Brand, People, and internal HUSA Teams during high impact moments to develop exciting internal activations and communications that drive business priorities.
- Drive employee engagement around corporate communications initiatives by developing and executing compelling internal campaigns that inspire employees to connect with and champion key messages (i.e. Responsible Consumption)
- Act as a day-to-day trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, providing strategic guidance on internal and employee communication plans to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
- HUSA Workvivo Community Lead - Day-to-day management of Workvivo content and activities to drive increased employee engagement aligned with leadership communications and the employee engagement strategy and business priorities.
- Lead the development of the Town Hall agendas and content creation.
- Management of day-to-day internal communications and develop annual calendar of internal campaigns Maintain company-wide calendar of all events, announcements, news.
- Lead multiple agency partners in the development & execution of Employee Meeting, overseeing internal and external partner support.
- Partner with Director on planning agenda, content and budget management for Regional Distributor Meetings. Oversee both internal support and external partners to execute the meetings.
- Support corporate relations efforts in times of crisis.
- Leadership of consumer contact center and consumer affairs issues along with internal consumer affairs team including operations and legal
- Partner with Director of Distributor Communications to create and produce sales-specific communications and creative assets as needed
- Support Director in role of communications in Change Management for the organization
- Support Director External Communications in translating leadership priorities into compelling corporate communications and storytelling
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience, with the ability to demonstrate continually increasing levels of responsibility, in corporate relations or corporate communications.
- Ability and desire to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization, strong project management skills
- Ability to see the bigger picture and translate strategic goals into actionable execution
- A proactive, self-starter who leans in and owns ongoing projects with the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes as needed
- Someone who loves social media and can translate external trends into fun and engaging employee content
- A strong writer with the ability to tell a story creatively
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agency or corporate communications experience is a plus
- Previous experience with Graphic Design and/or video production is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 + Annual Bonus
