Job Description

Responsible for driving our content and campaign initiatives for the University of Maryland Medical System. Focusing on creating content and campaigns that tackle brand awareness and lead generation initiatives, drive candidate engagement and empower recruitment enablement. Partnering with key stakeholders to align these efforts with the employer brand and recruitment marketing strategy.

  • Build, manage and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns for recruitment initiatives across the University of Maryland Medical System.
  • Analyze key performance indicators for digital advertising campaigns and provide reports on a regular basis
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve KPIs
  • Utilize tools such as Google Trends and Google keyword planner to prepare for campaign launches and build campaign strategies
  • Utilize keyword research and understanding of the latest technology and capabilities for a changing suite of digital platforms
  • Using Google Analytics, collaborate with other members of the Talent Acquisition Promotions team to provide combined campaign reporting across channels
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors and internal business partners
  • Contribute to project implementation conversations and make recommendations that support the strategic vision for recruitment and organizational initiatives
  • Research and leverage industry insights, trends and best practices to drive strategic recommendations for digital marketing

Education & Experience - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in recruitment marketing, employer branding, talent acquisition, or related field, with a proven record of accomplishment of successful strategy development and execution.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking system, candidate relationship management systems, job boards, and other recruitment technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, fostering collaboration and gaining buy-in from cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling employer branding materials and messaging.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a large, diffuse, highly matrixed environment.
  • Inquisitive and data-driven, with a focus on measuring and optimizing the return on investment of recruitment marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence colleagues across all areas and levels of the organization.
  • A strong interest in exploring and applying modern platforms and tools to evolve talent attraction and engagement.
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual thinking, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
