Our mining client head office based in Centurion is seeking the services of a Project Metallurgist to join their team, the ideal candidate will be based in Centurion but must be willing to travel to visit sites in Limpopo and North West.
Duties & Responsibilities
On site data collection for process optimisation ·Implement quality improvement initiatives
Oversee implementation of new technologies and support operations
Oversee metallurgical test work/development programs
Completion of scoping and feasibility studies
Project management during technical projects execution
Deliver technical reports
Desired Experience & Qualification
BSc / BEng in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
5 years’ experience in mineral processing design with strong exposure to Chrome beneficiation and PGM flotation circuits
Proven experience in project environment (PFS to commissioning)
Strong metallurgical fundamentals, strong problem solving and analytical skills, project execution mindset, risk based decision making, clear technical communication, strong stakeholder management ability
