About the role

This is a role for a committed, ambitious and impact driven person who sits comfortably at the intersection of purpose, growth and digital engagement.

As Program Manager-Supporter Engagement, you will lead how EverAbility Group builds long-term relationships with supporters and donors across Western Australia and Tasmania. The focus is on sustainable revenue growth through digitally led campaigns, strong supporter experiences and clear pathways from first connection through to meaningful, long-term engagement.

This is beyond a traditional fundraising role. It is about building a modern supporter ecosystem, combining data, storytelling, digital engagement and relationship development to grow loyalty, advocacy and income over time.

You will work across Guide Dogs WA, Guide Dogs Tasmania and VisAbility in a dual state model, helping translate real community impact into meaningful supporter commitment.

What you’ll be responsible for each and every day

Supporter and revenue growth

  • Lead the development of supporter acquisition, retention and development strategies across digital, direct mail and stewardship journeys.
  • Grow recurring income streams through contemporary engagement approaches.
  • Build clear progression pathways from initial engagement through to major philanthropy and legacy support.

Digital and data-led engagement

  • Use data, segmentation and insight to improve supporter experience and lifetime value
  • Strengthen digitally led engagement including automation, personalised journeys and integrated campaigns.
  • Apply customer and membership engagement thinking to the supporter lifecycle.

Experience and impact storytelling

  • Help translate organisational impact into compelling engagement opportunities.
  • Ensure supporters feel connected to outcomes, not transactions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications and service teams to maintain a consistent experience.

Collaboration and innovation

  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong internal relationships to ensure supporter engagement reflects real service impact.
  • Bring fresh thinking from membership, customer growth or commercial engagement environments.

Skills And Experiences

About you

You may come from fundraising, but you could equally come from:

  • Membership organisations.
  • Subscription or loyalty programs.
  • Customer growth or retention roles.
  • Digital engagement or lifecycle marketing.
  • Revenue development in purpose-led organisations.

What matters is your ability to build relationships at scale, use data intelligently and grow sustainable income aligned with purpose.

You will bring

  • Experience growing recurring revenue, membership or supporter programs
  • Strong digital engagement capability.
  • Confidence interpreting data and turning insight into action.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A practical, outcomes-focused approach.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation.
  • Capacity to develop and deliver creative and compelling narrative.

Above all else, you bring a meaningful commitment to turning up each day to do what you can to make the world a safer, more accepting and more accommodating world for people with vision loss and disability.

Why this work matters - and what you’ll gain

EverAbility Group supports people with disability, vision impairment and developmental needs to live independently and participate fully in their communities. Sustainable supporter engagement allows that impact to grow.  If successful in this role, you will play a direct part in shaping how people connect with that purpose over time.

We need someone bold and creative who will plan with care, innovate with purpose and execute with ambition.

In return, you will work in a supportive environment that will nourish your career and give you the chance to be part of a carefully crafted team that is committed to our values of Collaboration, Excellence and Respect. In addition, we offer a supportive, flexible working environment under our Enterprise Agreement, including:

  • Opportunity to work across a dual state model, multiple impact brands and flexible hybrid work based in Perth or Hobart.
  • Generous salary packaging benefits to boost your take home salary, additional leave entitlements, 17.5% leave loading and long service leave after 7 years.
