🔍 Who we're looking for
We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator Intern (also known as HR Operations Intern or People Team Intern) to join our People Team in Amsterdam on a 6-month internship and help us with day-to-day People Ops, employee lifecycle support, and continuous process improvement.
You'll join our small, hands-on People Team and report directly to the People Operations Manager. The team supports a growing, international employee base across multiple countries, so you'll have real ownership from day one and plenty of opportunity to make a meaningful contribution. This is an ideal role for someone at the start of their HR career who enjoys structure, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced international environment.
☑️ What you'll do
Maintain accurate employee records across our People systems
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, documentation, tooling, and introductions
Support payroll preparation by managing employee data changes
Act as a first point of contact for employees with People Ops–related questions
Support People projects and continuous process improvement initiatives
Help ensure compliance with local labour regulations and internal policies
🔎 Who you are
Currently studying (HBO) Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Detail-oriented, dependable, and you genuinely enjoy supporting others
Proactive, service-oriented, and well organised
Comfortable communicating and working in English
Basic knowledge of labour law and HR processes is a plus
You hold a valid EU passport or valid working rights for the Netherlands, and are based in the Netherlands
You can commit to a 6-month internship based in Amsterdam
