About the role


We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and people-centric People Operations Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the People Operations Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations while also leading the full-cycle recruitment process. This is a critical role for ensuring a positive employee experience, maintaining smooth internal processes, and attracting top talent to our organization.


What you'll do

Recruiting (Full Lifecycle Ownership)

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define job requirements
  • Create and post job descriptions across relevant platforms
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and offer negotiations
  • Maintain and optimize applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment metrics
  • Coordinate candidate communications and ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience
  • Support employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives

HR Operations Support

  • Assist the People Operations Manager in executing HR programs, initiatives, and daily operations
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, scheduling, and systems setup
  • Help manage benefits administration, compliance documentation, and company policies
  • Respond to employee inquiries and escalate as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or people operations roles
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools (bonus points for Rippling & Google Workspace)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you’ll wear multiple hats
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance practices
  • Previous experience working in the mental health field or a related healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
