The role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented People Operations Specialist for our team in Porto. In this role, you will support our daily People operations business and contribute to creating a positive employee experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
How you’ll make an impact
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing support and clarification on HR processes, policies, and administrative topics, including benefits and insurance, flexible benefits, health and safety, occupational medicine, payroll, various leaves, training, and company policies.
Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding and offboarding, while preparing, issuing, and maintaining employment documentation (e.g., employment agreements, amendments, reference letters, certificates, exit documents, and other official correspondence) in compliance with local labour laws.
Prepare and deliver accurate employee data to support timely payroll processing and checking in coordination with the Finance team.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve People Operations processes, templates, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
Collaborate with external agencies to manage relocation support for international employees, including visa processing and compliance with local administrative requirements.
Prepare, fill in and submit the Relatório Único on an annual basis
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality

You have gained experience in People Operations, supporting companies in Portugal, which will help you to quickly adapt to this role.
You possess a good labour law background in Portugal
You possess excellent English, both written and spoken.
You have experience supporting HR across the entire employee lifecycle
You are an initiative-driven, flexible, and customer-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and a self-reliant, results-focused work style.
You enjoy working collaboratively in a team, value a collegial and dynamic work environment, and thrive in international cooperation
Experience working with payroll agencies to process monthly payroll, with a solid understanding of payroll practices.
Proven experience in the management and preparation of Relatório Unico
