Today, more than 200 specialists across Australia choose Aurizn because we are different. We’re agile. We’re specialised. We’re closely aligned to our customers’ needs. And we’re growing.

As we continue our next phase of growth, we are looking for a People Operations Manager to help shape the workforce, leadership capability and people practices that will support our future.

About the role:

As People Operations Manager, you will be the senior people operations specialist within Aurizn and a trusted advisor to leaders across the business. Working closely with the Chief Strategic Communications & People Officer, you will help shape the people foundations that enable our teams to deliver extraordinary outcomes for our customers.

You’ll lead employee relations, workforce planning, organisational design, compliance and people governance, while also helping build a modern, scalable People & Talent function that supports a high-performing workforce.

This is an opportunity to have genuine influence, partnering with leaders, coaching managers, solving complex people challenges and helping shape how Aurizn grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading Aurizn’s people operations function across the employee lifecycle.
  • Providing expert advice on employment legislation, workplace relations and people-related risk.
  • Managing complex employee relations matters, investigations and performance processes.
  • Partnering with leaders to strengthen people capability and support business outcomes.
  • Driving workforce planning and organisational design initiatives.
  • Improving systems, processes and governance frameworks that enable growth.
  • Delivering meaningful workforce insights and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Mentoring and developing members of the People & Talent team.

About You:

You are a trusted HR professional who combines technical expertise with commercial thinking.

You enjoy solving complex problems, partnering with leaders and building practical people solutions that support organisational success.

You’ll bring:

  • Extensive HR generalist experience, ideally in a complex or highly regulated environment.
  • Deep expertise in employee relations, workplace legislation and people risk management.
  • Experience managing investigations, performance matters and organisational change.
  • Strong influencing and coaching capability.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for building scalable people practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.

Due to a requirement to be eligible for a Baseline security clearance, Australian Citizenship is required.

We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Please reach out to careers@aurizn.co if you have any particular needs that we can support you with throughout this process.
