Position: People Operations Generalist - Full Time
Reports to: People Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the People Operations Manager, the People Operations Generalist is responsible for supporting the people strategy for Insignia Event Services. The People Operations Generalist plays a key role in implementing Insignia's people strategy and independently manages core people operations functions for their assigned areas, including hiring, onboarding, new hire orientation, employee experience initiatives, payroll processing, and terminations.
Primary Job Duties:
- Source, screen, and process candidates for part-time and full-time roles, including employment verification, background checks, and E-Verify
- Manage the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes for their assigned areas
- Maintain up-to-date employee documentation and records in the HRIS and ABI
- Develop, manage, and support the nonprofit organization volunteer program
- Assist in processing biweekly payroll
- Assist in developing, implementing, and interpreting personnel policies and procedures for Insignia Events.
- Participate in the completion of People Operations objectives, systems, metrics, and standard reports
- Recommend new procedures and policies to improve operational efficiency and enhance the employee experience
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and champion Insignia Way values and behaviors
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and HR regulations, updating policies and procedures as needed
- Apply creative problem-solving skills to overcome operational challenges
- Foster a welcoming, professional, and positive environment when interacting with employees and patrons
- Be the People Operations support during large stadium events
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or Recruiting combined
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and troubleshoot in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Valid driver's license
- Creative, innovative, high-energy, and results-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds without assistance
