What am I accountable for?
1. HR Support, Administration & Compliance
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related administrative tasks.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for operations roles (posting, screening, interviewing, and background checks) and provide recruitment administration support for all other positions.
- Oversee new hire onboarding administration, including IT setup, initial administrative tasks, and training coordination.
- Ensure timely completion of all required new hire documentation and enrollment in benefits, 401(k), and other applicable programs.
- Maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) by inputting and auditing data such as employee records, time-off, and information and employment changes.
- Distribute annual notices and other company-wide communications.
- Manage benefits-related changes for new hires, terminations, and life events.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.
- Managing deduction contributions and facilitate weekly payroll journal entry to accounting.
- Initiate and manage the offboarding process.
2. Office Administration
- Maintain and order office supplies, kitchen inventory, and IT equipment to support daily operations.
- Manage IT hardware requests and provide light technical support as needed.
- Track company hardware inventory and ensure proper assignments/returns.
- Oversee office cleanliness, organization, and aesthetics (artwork, décor, etc.).
- Coordinate facility-related vendors such as cleaners, landscapers, and maintenance providers.
- Administer company security and alarm system access.
- Maintain the company calendar and serve as an administrator for Google Workspace.
- Schedule, and support preparation for company quarterly meetings.
- Manage software access and license renewals.
- Prepare and distribute weekly company Hi-Lights.
3. Employee Engagement & Recognition
- Coordinate employee recognition programs, including birthday gifts and work anniversary acknowledgments.
- Plan and execute company events, team-building activities, and ad-hoc gatherings.
- Coordinate weekly company lunches, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with employee preferences.
- Organize quarterly State of Company meetings, including supporting the development of the presentation and coordinating department updates.
4. Training & Development Support
- Coordinate the process for uploading departmental training into our documentation, training and onboarding software (Trainual) and assist with system upkeep.
- Audit Trainual content to ensure timely updates by content creators, training completion rates, and follow up with managers and team members.
Key Measurables
- Average number of days from job posting to offer acceptance, by role type (e.g., engineering, assembly).
- Percentage of employee records with complete and accurate data.
- Percentage of required trainings completed by team members within deadline.
- All payrolls processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with federal and state regulations, with no compliance violations.
- Percentage of assigned tasks completed by the agreed deadline.

What will I need to succeed?
- Must align with our Core Values
- 3+ years of HR admin, recruiting, and payroll experience
- Prior experience recruiting with engineering and assembly roles a plus
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, PowerPoint, and Excel
