THE POSITION

• Oversee and support new employee on-boarding to foster positive inductions into our program, enhance employer brand and support organisational goals.
• Follow local HR practices & processes and ensure compliance with local legislation.
• Proactively advise managers and employees on conditions of employment, HR policies and processes.
• Coordinate learning and development initiatives with the support of operating leaders.
• Engage, coach, mentor, and support managers, supervisors, and employees to develop great career pathways within an amazing team.
• Help to facilitate people issues as they arise and advise operational leaders in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Work with all levels of employees to develop employee engagement and retention action plans.
• Foster the development of a culture where employees feel cared for, included, respected, and valued, through leading DEI initiatives and projects.
• Proactively identify areas in HR policies and processes to improve efficiency and increase staff motivation and retention.
• Work closely with the wider People Operations team across Asia Pacific on a number of exciting people projects.

THE PERSON

• Minimum 3 years HR experience in a generalist setting.
• Experience in team development / LMS.
• Demonstrable experience in driving employee engagement.
• High level proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Experience with and understanding of local employment law and legislation in Australia.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and leaders.
• Ability to work in a team and influence across job functions and company levels.
• Passionate about the employee experience and environment.
