POSITION SUMMARY 

People & Culture Assistant (PCA) will deliver support services in key People & Culture areas such as Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Payroll and Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, and various administrative, reporting and analytic duties to ensure the credit union is compliant with all appropriate laws and guidelines of the credit union. The PCA is a champion of the culture and exhibits our values in every interaction in serving the workforce.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Talent Acquisition and Onboarding - Support recruitment efforts through sourcing and communicating with candidates, coordinating interviews, managing job postings, organizing and participating in job fairs, recruitment activities and initiatives to attract top talent. Send testing and forms to candidates, following up to ensure completion. Conduct candidate reference checks. Assist with onboarding duties such as I’9s & E-Verify. Complete changes and other updates to the Performance Management system (Performance Pro). 

• Payroll and Benefits Administration - Review timecards, add training hours, work with management on missing hours, complete changes in the payroll (ADP) system and payroll validation. Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs to ensure all benefits are accurately reflected in employee records. Provide support with the communication and promotion of Total Rewards initiatives across the organization.

• Administrative and Reporting - Provide a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations. Collaborate on special projects such as reporting, internal audits, employee engagement, wellness events, and employee recognition. Answer employee questions timely through various communication channels, post announcements to Credit Union intranet, track surveys and reviews, support Luke Airforce Base Passes, NMLS process and process CADs. Maintain departmental documents and vendor maintenance information. Support the People & Culture team to ensure activities comply with all relevant laws, regulations and policies including labor laws, wage and hour laws and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations. 

• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS 

EDUCATION: High school diploma or G.E.D. 

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 year(s) of related administrative experience. Human Resources and Credit Union experience highly preferred.

Ability to multi-task and be agile to serve members and employees. • Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and collaborative tools (Teams and Zoom). • Thorough knowledge and understanding of organization’s Employee Handbook and policies. • Must demonstrate a functional knowledge ofthe Bank Secrecy Actin addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
