JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner leads organizational recruiting efforts while serving as a strategic HR advisor. This role drives full-cycle recruitment, supports employee relations, and partners with leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness. 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across all departments
  • Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning and staffing needs
  • Manage recruiting metrics, tools, and vendor relationships
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for a strong new-hire experience
  • Coach managers and employees on performance and workplace matters
  • Support and manage employee relations issues and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory standards
  • Analyze HR data and help implement workforce and organizational solutions
  • Contribute to engagement and culture-building initiatives
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of combined HR and Talent Acquisition experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or HR certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of recruiting, employee relations, and HR compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate active listening
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to create and communicate new processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure
  • Must have a positive and outgoing personality and enjoy working, speaking and collaborating with a variety of people
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Paylocity (or similar HRIS)
  • Knowledge of Union Collective Bargaining Agreements is a bonus
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license, acceptable insurance, and be able to drive to all Company facilities


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This role requires full-time, in-office attendance. Travel to other Heidelberg offices may be required on an as-needed basis to support Company initiatives 
  • This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets  
  • Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus) 
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however light to medium work exerting up to 25 pounds of force to move objects may occasionally be required 
  • Work hours may vary daily due to business needs
