Jio Haptik is an AI leader having pioneered AI-powered innovation since 2013. Reliance Jio Digital Services acquired Haptik in April 2019. Haptik currently leads India’s AI market having become the first to process 15 billion+ two-way conversations across 10+ channels and in 135 languages. Haptik is also a Category Leader across platforms including Gartner, G2, Opus Research & more. Recently Haptik won the award for “Tech Startup of the Year” in the AI category at Entrepreneur India Awards 2023, and gold medal for “Best Chat & Conversational Bot” at Martequity Awards 2023. Haptik has a headcount of 200+ employees with offices in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. 

With a team of 200+ Haptikans spread across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, we are now at an exciting inflection point of growth — one that calls for an evolved People & Culture strategy. We are looking for a Manager – People & Culture who will be a strategic partner to our business and leadership teams, driving an exceptional employee experience, culture transformation, and operational excellence.

This role is for someone who believes great cultures don’t just happen — they are intentionally built, nurtured, and sustained.


What will you do every day?


  • Partner with business and functional leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals, ensuring HR plays a pivotal role in driving business success.

  • Lead and execute the performance management cycle, from goal setting and calibration to feedback and development.

  • Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives that foster inclusion, collaboration, and recognition across the organization.

  • Champion learning and development initiatives, identifying skill gaps and supporting the creation of programs that empower Haptikans to grow.

  • Oversee HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of onboarding, exits, HRIS, compliance, and data management.

  • Continuously review and enhance policies and processes to ensure fairness, consistency, and scalability.

  • Drive people analytics and insights to inform decisions on engagement, retention, and workforce health.

  • Act as a culture custodian, ensuring our values are lived through every touchpoint of the employee journey.


Ok, you're sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate? 

  • You bring 5 - 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with strong exposure to HR Business Partnering and HR Operations in fast-paced, evolving organizations.

  • You’ve successfully led initiatives in performance management, talent development, engagement, and organizational design.

  • You thrive on building relationships — your stakeholders trust your judgment, and your teams value your empathy and fairness.

  • You have experience managing end-to-end HR operations, with a strong eye for process improvement and compliance.

  • You are data-driven, using insights to influence leadership decisions and measure impact.

  • You bring a growth mindset and a genuine passion for creating a culture where people feel inspired, valued, and empowered.

  • Experience in technology or high-growth digital organizations will be a strong plus.
