About the Role

Manage, plan, deliver and monitor the results on leadership & talent development to support AIA’s Operational People Review. In addition, Leadership & Talent Development, Specialist will be involved in conducting talent assessments.

Support Director, Learning & Development to identify development needs and find the execution of grooming future talent pipeline, design and implement the development programmes to support critical development needs of high potentials and talent group to enable it to fully utilize the potential of its people and meet future and challenging business needs.

Strategic management and Support

  • Plan, support, and implement corporate strategic development programmes to build critical capabilities and leadership for People Manager at N-3 and N-4 level i.e. Be spoke, StepUp, Management Associate Program, CoP, etc.
  • Work closely to support Director, Learning & Development in validating the quality of Operational People Review Nomination List, Career Profiles, Talent Identification & Succession Planning list, and Talent Action Plan
  • Plan, implement, reinforce and manage the AIA Mentoring Programme to build strong network of AIA leaders and promote AIA’s coaching culture.  
  • Elicit feedback regarding effectiveness and efficiency of services delivered and initiate and/or participate in projects that are aligned with broader HR strategy

Operational Improvement

  • Ensure effective collaboration with HRBPs to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement
  • update, manage and review policies/contents/KM articles on employee portal

in leadership & talent development area including PDD and career development (if needed)

  • Evaluate training effectiveness of the leadership development programs conducted and identify areas for improvement to ensure maximum effectiveness in meeting program objectives or arising business needs
  • Continuously improve or redesign own working process to enhance simplification and improve turnaround time for better leaders/users’ experience 
  • Manage budget effectively

Policy and process exception handling

  • Provide guidance and support to People Advisors and HRBPs in handling policy and process exceptions, including interpretation of ambiguous policy
