As a Junior Talent Acquisition Officer, you'll be at the heart of our recruitment operation – supporting our Talent Acquisition Officer to attract and hire the right people across permanent, contract, and operational roles. You'll work across a growing national network where your coordination, communication, and sourcing skills directly impact how smoothly our teams expand and operate.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial CV screening through to placement and onboarding coordination
  • Source potential candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, and social media platforms
  • Schedule interviews, assessments, and panel sessions with hiring managers and candidates – keeping everything organised and on track
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and pipelines in our ATS system whilst ensuring full POPIA and Employment Equity compliance
  • Draft and post engaging job adverts across internal and external platforms
  • Communicate professionally with candidates, providing role information, process updates, and interview guidance
  • Prepare interview packs, competency-based questionnaires, and candidate documentation
  • Support pre-employment checks including references, criminal record verification, and qualification confirmation
  • Collaborate with HR, line managers, and operational teams to understand recruitment needs and deliver results
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in recruitment or talent sourcing
  • Proven competency with ATS systems and major job boards
  • Strong knowledge of South African HR requirements, POPIA, and Employment Equity legislation
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and communicate clearly – both written and verbally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reports and tracking
  • Experience in high-volume or operational recruitment (a real advantage in this role)
  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset with genuine commitment to supporting your team
  • A National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Industrial Psychology would strengthen your application.
