About the Role

DLK Group is looking for a Junior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our People and Culture team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised, follows through on what they commit to and wants to build a career in recruitment.

You will support recruitment across our internal vacancies, client requirements and tender opportunities. The role covers the full recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, arranging interviews, preparing candidate submissions and supporting the handover into onboarding.

You will work closely with the Head of People and Culture and will have the opportunity to learn while gradually taking on more responsibility.

This role would suit someone who already has some exposure to recruitment and is now looking for an opportunity to build broader, practical experience.

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing allocated vacancies and recruitment requirements.
  • Advertising vacancies on PNet, LinkedIn, Zoho Recruit and other approved platforms.
  • Searching for suitable candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, our existing database and referrals.
  • Screening CVs and applications against the requirements of each role.
  • Conducting initial candidate screening discussions.
  • Coordinating interviews and assessments.
  • Keeping candidates informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Building and maintaining candidate pipelines for current and future requirements.
  • Supporting recruitment for client projects and tender submissions.
  • Checking candidate qualifications, experience, availability and supporting documentation.
  • Preparing candidate submission packs and formatted CVs where required.
  • Supporting reference checks and offer administration.
  • Ensuring successful candidates are handed over correctly for onboarding.
  • Keeping recruitment information accurate and up to date in Zoho Recruit and other systems.
  • Preparing vacancy trackers and recruitment updates.
  • Following up on outstanding information and deadlines.
  • Looking for practical ways to improve the recruitment process and candidate experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Around 1–2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate sourcing or recruitment administration.
  • Relevant internship or graduate recruitment experience will also be considered.
  • Some exposure to recruitment systems, job boards or applicant tracking systems.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Advantageous Experience

It would be useful, but not essential, if you have worked with any of the following:

  • Zoho Recruit or Zoho People.
  • LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • PNet or similar job boards.
  • SharePoint.
  • ICT or technology recruitment.
  • Consulting or professional services environments.
  • Client recruitment requirements.
  • Tender or proposal resource sourcing.
