About the Role

The Byrnel Group is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and people-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their dynamic Talent Acquisition Consulting team on a Part Time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment and contribute meaningfully to our hiring efforts across business units.

You’ll gain experience learning the fundamentals of Talent Acquisition, gain exposure to full-cycle recruitment processes, and play a key role in sourcing, screening, and coordinating top-tier talent. You’ll also assist with employer branding and hiring initiatives, giving you a well-rounded introduction to the world of talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and screening candidates using our Applicant Tracking System (Recruit CRM) and other digital platforms
  • Help coordinate interviews and maintain professional candidate communications throughout the recruitment process
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and manage talent pipelines
  • Draft and post job descriptions and maintain our careers page and job board presence
  • Support recruitment reporting, tracking metrics such as candidate stages and time-to-fill
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including social media content, campus partnerships, and promotional campaigns
  • Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition and HR teams
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing intern hiring initiatives, including outreach, logistics, and candidate engagement

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in near completion or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered a very strong asset
  • A strong interest in recruitment, employer branding, and HR operations
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • An excellent communicator—both written and verbal—with a positive, professional demeanor
  • Comfortable working with tools such as Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Excel, and ATS platforms (experience with Recruit CRM is a plus)
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, adapts quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
