Human Resources Generalist – Employee Experience 

The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role on the Human Resources team, supporting and enhancing the employee experience across the organization while partnering with the Human Resources team on both daily operations and special projects in a variety of HR functions, including compliance, compensation, benefits, recruiting and employee relations. This position provides a blend of administrative, technical, and people-focused support, from onboarding new hires and managing HR systems to coordinating events and assisting with recruiting, the Human Resources Generalist ensures smooth daily operations while contributing to projects that strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational success.   

So, What’s the Gig?  

  • Manage the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues in alignment with company policy and employment law. 
  • Act as a resource for employee questions, directing employees to the appropriate resource, ensuring timely and helpful responses.
  • Represent HR on internal committees and initiatives (e.g., ESOP, Activities Committee, company events).
  • Administer employee experience initiatives, including stay interviews, employee engagement activities, and events (e.g., summer food trucks, HQ tours, and onsite guest visits).
  • Manage full cycle recruiting and hiring processes for entry-level and hourly roles, such as posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating onsite interviews, and facilitating offer and prescreening processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation activities, welcoming new hires and facilitating a seamless new hire experience. 
  • Recruiting support and coordination of the summer intern program.
  • Administer HR systems and tools (e.g., ATS, LMS, 15Five) ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support annual reporting, audits, and recordkeeping requirements, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEOC, NLRA, and 5500 filing requirements.
  • Support compensation activities (e.g., market pricing, pay equity analysis, merit/bonus/incentive programs and pay transparency policies), ensuring fair, equitable and documented policies are followed.
  • Manage employee security profiles in the badge system, including access for employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Serve as backup support for core HR functions, including payroll processing. 
  • Support internal communications, including drafting messages and creating simple graphics using Canva.

 What We’re Looking For:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related major. 
  • 4-6 years of experience in Human Resources; prior HR support experience preferred.
  • Experience with HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, LMS, or employee engagement tools; ability to quickly learn new platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear communications and create simple visual content (e.g., Canva, Microsoft Office, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
