The Jewish Community Center of the Greater Palm Beaches is looking for a strategic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead HR operations across our Palm Beach Gardens and Boynton Beach campuses. This is a fully on-site role (2–3 days at each location per week) with no remote or hybrid option.
🔹 About the Role
This is a player-coach opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys both strategic planning and day-to-day HR execution. You’ll be the sole HR resource overseeing all HR functions for two vibrant community centers. The position reports to the CEO and collaborates closely with organizational leadership.
🔹 What You’ll Do
o Serve as the organization’s primary HR leader across both campuses
o Manage all core HR functions, including:
o Employee relations and compliance
o Benefits and Workers’ Compensation
o Payroll coordination
o Talent acquisition and onboarding
o FMLA and leave management
o Training and professional development
o HR documentation and policy implementation
o Act as a trusted advisor during organizational changes or crisis situations
o Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and HR best practices
🔹 What You’ll Bring
● 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
● Strong generalist background across all key HR areas
● Working knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and payroll processes
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
● Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
● Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s or certification preferred)

● Salary: $100,000–$110,000
